WHY SOUND HEALING?

I had been thinking for a while (since the first lockdown) that I'm missing something and that I'm here on this earth to offer more to you all. I couldn't quite put my finger on it until I started my Reiki training and had a profound moment where I wanted to explore Sound Healing Meditation more, especially the Tibetan singing bowls. After some research I found my teacher Charlie and took the plunge. What a difference it has made to my life! I describe it as 'coming home'. The benefits of Sound Healing are just great. BENEFITS OF SOUND HEALING

Sound healing can help with many things. Here are a few benefits… deep relaxation, deep meditative state, heal trauma, higher levels of energy, better sleep, dissolve mental, physical & emotional blockages, reduces stress, fear & depression, cleanses auras, balances chakras, relief from headaches, fatigue, insomnia, digestive orders, joint or muscle aches, menstrual disorders, emotional imbalances

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Sound is vibration and it is all around and within us. Don't worry, I'll keep this short... Imagine when you drop a pebble into a still lake and you watch the ripples move along the water. Well that's exactly what happens when I play the singing bowls and gong. The vibrations move through your body with that same ripple affect. You may feel the vibrations, you may not. You might go into a wonderful relaxed state, a deep state of consciousness or you may even just fall asleep! All are great and will be exactly what you need to experience.

Slow Stretch & Sound Bath

Slow Stretch & Sound bath sessions run every other Wednesday evening. 6.30pm at Forest Park community centre, Bracknell. Starts from Wednesday 13th September.

A beautiful 50 minutes to yourself. Where you have nothing else to do but just be in the moment. To move your body with love, reward your mind with stillness and set your spirit free whilst receiving all you need from the wonderful sounds that will surround you

20 minutes of super slow and easy stretching followed by 30 minutes of sound healing from the Tibetan singing bowls.

What to expect:

Stretching part - Amy will guide you through some super simple and easy stretches for everybody and anybody! These will include standing, seated and lying down sequences with modifications if needed. A chance to show your body some love with gentle movement because let's face it, who stretches their beautiful body enough?

Sound bath part - As you get cosy and snuggle down onto your mat, Amy will then guide you through some breathing exercises and a meditation to help your mind and body let go & prepare to go deeper with the sounds of the Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments.

You'll hear many different sounds and notes from all the singing bowls that will take you on a magical journey. You may go into deep relaxation, an altered state of consciousness or even fall asleep. When it's time to connect back together, Amy with gently guide you back where you'll be invited to take your time to move, connect and ground your body & mind.

This time is for YOU, Amy will simply guide you to wherever you need to go in that session.

Incense will be burned before and during the session

Monthly Group Sound Meditation

Group Sound Meditation sessions run once a month, usually on a Sunday evening in Bracknell

Are you ready to dedicate a wonderful 80 minutes to yourself? If that's a yes, then I'm so happy to invite you to join us for our monthly sound meditation and to share the beautiful Tibetan singing bowl magic with you. (60 minutes guided mediation/sound meditation & then 20 minutes to ground yourself, eat a small snack, drink a herbal tea or water and maybe have a chat if you fancy it) Please arrive at the start time of the event so we are ready to start shortly after.

What to expect?

Give yourself full permission to truly relax and connect with yourself whilst I take you on a beautiful sound meditation journey.

As you get cosy and snuggle down onto your mat, gentle & soothing background music will welcome you into our sound experience together.

Amy will then guide you through some breathing exercises and a meditation to help your mind and body let go & prepare to go deeper with the sounds of the Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments.

You'll hear many different sounds and notes from all the singing bowls that will take you on a magical journey. You may go into deep relaxation, an altered state of consciousness or even fall asleep. When it's time to connect back together, Amy with gently guide you back where you'll be invited to take your time to move, connect and ground your body & mind.

There will then be a chance to have some herbal tea or water, a little snack and maybe a chat if you're feeling up it (no problemo if you'd rather not though)

This time is for YOU, Amy will simple guide you to whenever you need to go in that session.
